No primer B/O at powder valley

I just noticed that they are not taking back orders any more,
    Quote

"At this time we are not taking any new backorders for primers that are not listed here. We currently have over 50 million primers on backorder. If you currently have a backorder in place your order will be processed as primers become available. Once we begin receiving more primers from the manufacturers and are able to begin filling current backorders we will update the website"

The only place currently allowing backorders is Cabelas
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

I placed an order with powder valley last week sometime. For primers i am good for now probably til fall. When the next order comes in combined with the loaded rounds i have i should be able to make it thru the winter time.

bad part is i only ordered 2 k worth.

Guess I need to think about going in the primer business...

Earlier this week I got an e-mail from PVI answering my Back Order questions - they *were* taking backorders - man that changed fast.

I took a look at their site - most primers aren't even listed any more - too bad.

Wonder what Winchester's profit is per primer? 600M - wow!

Well I guess this should answer many peoples questions as to why we dont see any primers on the open market. Many are so flippin backordered out there trying to fill the BO's first.

There are no shortage on gunbroker at inflated prices thats for sure.IMO many are getting greedy and taking advantage of a supply and demand situation. But then again the same people who like reaming other gun owners are the first to complain about big companies profits, etc.

how do you get gouged on an auction site? YOu bid what you are willing to spend, and if someone is willing to spend more, then they wanted it more than you.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Good point, but if your stupid enough to bid and win I guess your screwing yourself. With the panic in full force and what people are paying there are alot of desperate people out there! 73's!
