is the decapper pin not reaching far enough to reach the primer? have you adjusting the pin further down and locking it or locking the nut from under the press and not over? what brass are you trying to trim

I have the World Finest Trimmer. Does the same chit. Takes too much time for me as I have to swage and decap separately.

Are you trying to decap crimped brass? The Lee decapper is marginal for that unless you either really lock the rod in place.

The M die should be pretty consistent if your cases are the same length. Have you measured after the trim step to make sure they're coming out the same? If they're not, is it possible your technique is not bottoming the press handle out consistently?

Verify operation on single steps, and it may make it easier to tell where your problem is.

Will do. I have been, and my results are becoming more consistent. I just had to leave it to travel for work. Can't wait to get it working.

Make sure you tighten that damn thing down good. I was trying to set mine up and didn't want to over tighten the trimmer. Turned it on and the thing ran away wrecking the threads. Dillon customer support said it's the most common call they have with new users. Maybe put that warning in the damn instructions please!

Thank you for the information. I am about to set up my dillion trimmer soon and I was not aware of this. I will make sure I tighten before use. Thank you again for posting.

Man, adjusting the trimmer and testing for cases length, I saw aluminum filings coming out of it. From the post, I realized, thats what it is. Torque dat sumnbetch.

I've had the mandrel inside the M die back off on me before which led to some flaring of the case mouth. May be worth checking.
