Anyone running a rock chucker on an inline mount? UPDATE POST 30, bench makeover!!!

I load on a repurposed countertop bench with a lip and bullnosed front. It prevents a solid countertop mount because of the raised lip.

I solved the issue on my Dillon with their high rise mount. I like the height.

I'd like to raise the new rock chucker up, and I see inline makes a similar mount, along with a cool cartridge kicker bin deal.

A bit spendy, but I got the press as a gift, so I'm thinking about this setup. I looked at their quick change setup, and briefly considered it, but the old single stage isn't in the way now, so I'm thinking the regular mount, or should I keep my options open? Space isn't really at a premium now.

I'm trying to make the same decision and I'll share my thoughts on the things to weigh. I currently have a LNL AP on an Ultramount and a Lee Classic Cast single stage on the bench.

    1. Are you ever going to want to switch between your RC and something else? The Inline Fab quick change setup is very fast, much faster than the Lee Bench plate, and very solid...I have a friend who has one.

    2. Whichever way you go, it is a lot more bang for your buck than the Dillon Strong Mount; it is better built and more stable...I have a friend with the Stong Mount for his 650

    3. Whichever way you decide to go, get their Ergo handle...just trust me on this, your back will thank you later

    4. The cartridge kicker is very cool and well thought out. I'd get one for my Lee if they made it...even at half the cost of what I paid for the press

The inline mount is great piece of equipment. It's a inch or so taller than the 550 strong mount, incredibly solid, and worth every penny. You will forget about the money you spent after one pull of the handle.

I forgot to add, the In-Line price includes shipping.

Dave puts it in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box and you'll have it in a couple of days

Cool. Thanks. No plans to be able to switch, but I thought it might be an option for future developments.

Which handle do you prefer, and why? Looks like a couple choices. Im looking at it on my phone and dont see the differences easily.

            Thanks.

I have three different presses on Inline Fabrications quick-change plates, that mount to their stand on my bench. No Rockchuckers, but I do have an RCBS Jr 3.

I cannot say enough good things about the Inline system.... it revolutionized my reloading space.

When I bought the handle as a gift for someone, I emailed Dan at inline. He's very quick to respond.

If you tell him how you load (standing or sitting) he will tell you which handle is right for you.

I've got a LnL and RC'r, both using the inline fab mounts, excellent investment. Plus, I found a guy on eBay that makes these roller handles for ~$25 and he even offers them in colors too.

There are 2 ergo handles and which one you select is dependent on the mount you choose, the height of your bench and whether you prefer to load sitting of standing (plus your height).

I have the full sized Ultra Mount and the Short handle

The best thing to do is give them a call or send an email. When I called, Dave (the owner) picked up the phone. He was very knowledgeable and helpful

Ok, I did some diggin, and they make the quick change plates for pretty much everything.

I'm going to get the quick change for the chucker, the Dillon, my Dillon stage, and a vice. This is pretty cool.

                          You won't regret it.

I have a re purposed counter top with a slight rise and a bull nose on the leading edge as you describe. The Inline system was the perfect solution:

Sure glad I happened on this thread. I am using an old steel office desk to load on, and I had issues with the handle hitting my knee. Just found the perfect solution at Inline, since I did not want to raise the press.

I've been using a repurposed kitchen cabinet that I picked up from my neighbor when he redid their kitchen. Stuck some casters on the bottom and now I have a semi-portable bench. The Inline Fabrication solution was the way to go for me. I've got the quick change plates for my Lee Classic Turret, Lee Breech Lock SS, RCBS Jr 2, and now for my Dillon 550B. I'm thinking I might not be done because I might go ahead and purchase the 6" stand also so I can have two presses up and running.
