Amazon.com emails not being received at Hotmail/OUTLOOK.com after switchover...

    Anyone ELSE have this issue?

I noticed that Amazon took $1500 out of my checking account on March 25th and then put it back in on the 3rd of April.

I tried to log in and I could not, I tried password reset and I never got any of the multiple e-mails I had amazon send me.

I chatted with a CSR yesterday and she too sent me an e-mail but none of my new OUTLOOK boxes have it.

Anyone else have this sort of issue of cut communications between amazon and outlook/hotmail?

They might be going to your junk folder.

No, but I order so much from Amazon (and get lots of confirmation emails) that I whitelist their domain in my email settings.

Check your junk folder. I wish I didn't get all the emails asking me to rate stuff

Check for unauthorized email account access and make sure to check that your email isn't being forwarded to some anonymous dump account. People will do this so they can receive your emails without you knowing about it until you check your forwarding settings.

Amazon does not go to my junk mail folder.
I would have checked my junk mail folder before coming here.
There is NOTHING AT ALL from amazon showing up at hotmail.

I will check my settings at hotmail but since I get mail from everyone else it seems like the settings have not been messed with.

Have you verified the email address at Amazon? Maybe just a single typo in the email address in your profile.

For some reason after the switch all e-mails from @amazon.com were listed in the filter list so they never made it to the in box.

I did not do this so it makes me wonder. I wish I could see a list of all of the ip addresses that accessed my hotmail account and when this decision was made. perhaps I am not yet out of the woods.

It is possible someone hacked your email (obtained your password), then changed the email associated with your Amazon account. Other posters have already suggested verifying your email address with Amazon. That might be a good thing to do.

Yes it is possible. I have already been through this on my end.

My hotmail account PW has been changed at this point. Apparently amazon notified me that unauthorized purchases were made on my account but since those were blocked, I never got them. They changed the pw and reversed all things on the account. I have not been back to amazon since.
