I don't use IE, even at work unless I need to, so most of the time I go ahead and save my login in Firefox, as there is no domain pass-through auth. OOTB in FF.
On most of the intranet site I hit there are completely unneeded images, from a place about 2k miles away, as I just need text/numbers from a page, and block the 1-2 images that are there for cosmetics, and collar-popping by web page creators/corp.
The pages I hit are almost all text, except for a couple images, that are easily blocked with ABP (Ad Block Plus), just right-click and hit block, then add that image to the block.
Just thought I'd pass this along if you were dealing with this yourself.
The pages are much quicker, especially with a slower pipe to corp. than my home FiOS.
I usually use DarkReader too, as it avoids my retina-burn.
This even works with image-ads on Calguns.
