As little as possible. Cleaning guns is only fun for kids or guys that just got into guns.

I used to clean every range trip now I clean them every other range trip unless I shoot corrosive ammo.

depends on the finish of the firearm

        depends on the ammo used

depends on the type of firearm

Have a painted AK with relatively clean non corrosive ammo? No; you don't have to clean it every 100 rounds. Not even every 2000 rounds.

Use some triple seven in your shotgun because you couldn't find anything else to make shells with? Full same day break down, wash, oil, et cetera...

whatever hobby i am into i am into it 100 %. i always enjoy taking very good care [ over the top ] of my things. I think i enjoy cleaning my rifles more than shooting them. Also my guns must function properly or i dump them. no fixer uppers in my house.
