I bet you had this gun sent in from Norwalk and I bet you will be disapointed when you realize it is missing it's extractor if it's the circa mid 1940's mod B they have had in the case before 1-2 times before, probably people failing their DROS or reputting the gun back up for sale when they realize it's broken. Doubt it was people flaking on their purchase after putting down a deposit as Turners requires IIRC you pay up front in full for used or consignment guns.

I pointed out the missing extractor a long time ago and I was just blown off pretty much. These were probably from the bacth of guns circa 2005 Turners was selling for $200-240. I bought 2 and a friend bought 1. We had problems with all of them and had to eat a buch of crap trying to get them to take them back which we did.

Don't even know how you got them to sent the gun to another Turners, I asked one or two times to have this done with a gu that said it could be transferred on the online gun rack and the help acted like I just said I wanted to kill their mom or something and made up rules and regulations as they could trying to keep me from doing so.

Yes, it is coming from Norwalk. I called and one of the counter monkeys told be it was fine. Carlos @ Riverside left me a message to call him, as he found out more info on it and wasn't to make sure I still want it. I will find out more today.

Ad for having them transfer guns, I do it all the time. I call the store where ths gun is at, make sure they have it and what it comes with. I ask them to pull it out of the dispaly and hold if for an hour until I can get to the Riverside store and start paperwork. I got to the store, tell them I want to have a used gun transfered from another store. They do the paperwork and I pay the 25% down layaway (I do this because most of the time, the gun is on a 30 day pawn brokers hold, so there is no use for me to pay for it up front then). They call me when it comes in and I go start dros. I have done it 4 times and never had a problem.

Very interesting, Riverside must have better service or they like you for some reason. I was always under the impression also that guns taken in for consignment had to be paid in full. Selective enforcement of that I guess. One time in 2004 they didn't make me pay up front for a used consignment revolver, I think it was a F up of they were being niuce as I had also just purchased another gun as well.

Please keep us posted on this especially on the condition of the gun you receive.

Didn't this just happen with a couple of the P6's they were selling? Seems like Turners has a problem with "losing" magazines. Buyer beware...

Turners has many problems including losing a whole rifle! I waited 1 1/2 hours last year for them to find a rifle I had bought they had misplaced. Ades is notorious for misplacing guns as well.
