Best 1911's

Well, I visited 3 different gunshops 2day and saw a lot of great firearms. Seeing that so many knowledgable gunners seem to be favoring 1911 pistols, I've started taking a liking in some myself. Problem is, I have no idea! I saw a springfield 1911 trp that i liked alot, and a couple of wilson combat 1911's. If i go with wilson i will probably customize one. U can guess dat $ isn't much of a factor. What are some of your favorites or "top guns" in the 1911??

I absolutly love my springfield armory loaded with tritium sights.

I have a Les Baer TRS and am happy with it. Wilson Combat, Ed Brown Nigthawk Custom will do too.

If i go with springfield, I'm hoping 2 be able to get a pair customized like Nicholas Cage's 2 gold pistols in the movie Face off. They are absolutlely mindblowing.

Rock Island Armory - An inexpensive way to get into 1911's and get a great shooting gun. I paid 400 for it. Look on the net for Rock's and they are quite popular and shoot great.

Dont waste your money with Wilson. I've seen plenty of those go down during training.

Since u seem 2 kno where i'm coming from, Those 2 tone glocks Mike Lowery (Will Smith in Bad boys 2). What kind of finish did they do on them and where can i go or send my glocks 2 that will get it done proper??
