More anti-gun media BS... US guns in Mexico
If you know how many guns you have... you don't have enough guns.
People need to remember that the same guys who wrote the 1st Amendment, also wrote the 2nd Amendment... and for the same exact reasons.Tags: None -
Why doesn't the Cartel just buy out the cops instead of getting into firefights with them? We all know the policia in mexico are always more then willing to accept cash donations to turn the a blind eye. This article reminds me of the b.s. here. The government blaming their inabilities to control crime on guns. -
"The same routes that are being used to traffic drugs north -- and the same organizations that have control over those routes -- are the same organizations that bring the money and the cash proceeds south as well as the guns and the ammunition," says Bill Newell, a special agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives."
I for one am shocked that the same folks who violate our laws (and risk lives) to earn a profit are doing the same on their return route to Mexico. Shocked I say!GOA Member & SAF Life MemberComment

Well if the drug war was ended there would not be so much violence. Think about it, the US spends 4 times more on illegal drugs than education per year. With that much money floating around the drug cartels could actually build a conventional army which to some extent they have. The media is crying wolf with guns since the supreme court case is going in our favor."Legitimate use of violence can only be that which is required in self-defense." Ron Paul

Officers in Mexico lack heavy firepower, he says. With the presence of large-caliber weapons from the United States, drug cartels and criminals have the advantage in what he says is basically a war.
...
Last year Mexican police confiscated 10,000 guns and $200 million in raids aimed at cracking down on border violence.
So the police there lack firepower, and yet they confiscated 10,000 guns and $200 million in just a year? Maybe I am stating the obvious...if these confiscated weapons are so deadly, why don't the police use them against the bad guys?Comment

If you check the time stamps... this is the first post regarding this article... the two other threads you pointed to were posted later.
Regardless... is there some kind of orgasmic rush I am unaware of from being able to type 'dupe' or post our little friend here??
I understand the need to focus lines of discussion and point out preexisting threads but people really seem to get off being able to say DUPEIf you know how many guns you have... you don't have enough guns.
