Is it really so cool to use sum over some...or is this a public school thing?

I have no idea why some manufactures include the test fired casing with the firearm. I guess so QA and document that firearm was in fact test fired.

Some states require spent casing for state's database.

Is "SUM" suppose to be a pun or acronym because I don't get it. I have never gotten a spent casing but I have gotten a fired bullet.

and the reason that SOME do is that there are SOME states that require all handguns sold in that state to have a fired shell so that the state can add it to their database of fired shell casing.

Because of that law, SOME manufacturers just include that shell casing in every handgun they ship. That way they don't have to track multiple SKUs and don't have to worry about a no-casing-required handgun being delivered to a casing-required state, either by themselves or by a distributor.

Wait. What new pistols come with dim sum? All I get is an owners manual and sometimes a warranty card. I love dim sum.
