    About Mag capacities...

    Two questions here
    1. Would an Evans repeater(34 round capacity) be legal if it were to be newly manufactured since over-ten tube mags are okay, apparently?
    2. if someone were to have an antique gatling gun, could they keep it without a class 3 licence and dangerous weapons permit since it's pre-1899, and not full auto since the hand crank means manual reloading per shot? if you dropped 10 rounds at a time into the ammo hopper, would that be okay?

How many times do we have to tell you to do research?

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

        1. Evans Repeating Rifle = lever-action rifle with a tubular magazine.
Lever-action firearms with a fixed tubular magazine is exempt from the large capacity magazine laws.

        2. Gatling Gun = Title 1 other firearm / CA long gun.
Under Federal & CA laws/regulations, a gatling gun is not a MG and the NFA does not apply to it. Technically, it's a multi-barrel single-shot firearm.
