    Trying to calculate the taxes

Ok i.think.i.have this squared away . Just a few things I need to get a confirmation on from anyone ,(sarcastic comments and jokes of all types are welcomed and will not be ignored . )just need to know if I am forgetting anything . .
would it be correct to instead of going the
    8.75% + 11% i could just say 19.75 %
That might seem like a remedial question which it is ....but when the system in place is to make everything as costly and difficult as legally and illegally possible , I don't want to be caught off guard

that being said if I were to be charged 0 tax upon purchase on a out of state long gun transfer , I would be looking at 19.75% in total taxes ,37.50 dros + transfer fee . Is that it?
    because
I feel like i am forgetting something or have failed to add another fee, tax, first born child ,a kidney , the essence of my very soul , etc .. ?

I thank you for your time

Plus a lock if needed. He may charge credit card fees.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
    I'm Back.

If you received the long gun as a gift then there would be no tax , just Dros & FFL transfer fee. If money was exchanged then the best thing to do is get the seller to to agree on a price with a Bill of Sale from the state purchased from .
