I have a complete lower(minus the stock) sitting in the safe and been thinking about putting together a light weight AR. I have also been looking/wanting a nice monolithic upper also. This morning I decided to go on with it and put together a light weight upper with Mega Tubular monolithic upper. I decided on the Mega Tubular because I don't want all the rail space if I'm not using it. I jumped to BCM and ordered a 14.5 light weight CHF barrel, mid length gas tube, YHM low profile gas block, YMH flash hider, BCM BCG and a charging handle. All I need now is order the upper then I'm good to go. The sites that I've been looking at are all out of the mid legnth uppers that I wanted. The only monolithic upper without the quad rail is Areo Precision, I personally don't like it because the handguard isn't one solid piece. My googlefu is weak and couldn't find any Mega Tubular's in mid legnth. So, I am asking for the assistance of the guru's of this community. Thanks in advance.
