As I cetainly do not know every thing gun related, I ask for youe best advice on the fallowing questions.
1. How do you tell what generation your glock you own. The gun was purchased around 95' if that helps.
2. About 1995 Mr X, living in Texas at the time, was given a firearm from an FBI agent/friend for doing some work. The agent made a hand written Bill of Sale. stating Name, Date, Model etc. No DROS no fee's no Gun shop, nothing but the forementioned hand written BoS, and gave Mr X the gun as payment for work rendered. Mr X, now living in Ca. wants to sell the gun. This is an un-usual circumstance to say the least.
Can anyone give a heads up as to what he may or may not have to do to sell his gun?ie. DROS, transfer fees, tax. you know the game. Is it possible to just do a ftf transfer much like a curio/relic sale?
