Aimpoint quick release mount any good??

Hello. Shot my new AR yesterday. Sighted in the Aimpoint red dot that came with it. After I had it all dialed in, I went to put the rifle back into it's case and noticed the mount was slightly loose. While I realize that this can be tightened, what are your thoughts on permanent attachment? Seems like the quick release lever has potential to get bumped and loosened. Thanks!
