I read that Breakfree was pretty hazardous so i looked it up, then started looking up other MSDS'.

Breakfree is sort of bad for you, this study thinks that the liver and bones are target organs. I'd wear gloves while using it. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16025432

Slip2000- couldnt find an MSDS, but it says non-toxic and non-hazardous





none of those seem that bad for you, but i wont be using breakfree CLP anymore, or any grease. i couldnt find info on jardines or wilson, but im assuming they are somewhat close to tetra and also have "fluorinated compounds", which like i said worries me a bit.

Like the last part of that Government article said. "CHRONIC" Dermal exposure to Break Free CLP. Chronic! You got to be soaking in it on a regular basis to cause harm. Maybe switching over to E.V.O.O for a gun lube will keep us safe?

looks like the study does not suggest that clp targets the liver and bone. the focus of that study was the effect of clp on skin. one of their findings suggests that studies should be done on the effects of clp on the liver and bones.
