    Dave's Magnum Range...San Bernardino.

    Any opinions of this place?
    I've heard that they're a surly bunch...is that so?
Thinking of doing a PPT there.
    Thanks

Since most of the people in the FFL forum use their own shop for a PPT, you would probably get a better response over in General Discussion.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

There was a member here swearing they shot his gun during the ppt hold period but I have my doubts on that. One guy there has a bad rep for having attitude. I don't shoot there but the times I have been there to pick up minor items or browse the gun selection I've had no problems.

I know the owner he is an English guy and pretty cool. The dickwad guy everyone mentions no longer works there. I went in last month and there was a newer group of younger guys working there.

Infact, I will be meeting up with the owner tomorrow and ask him about the new guys who work there and what experience they have in the firearm industry if that info will help in your decision making.

I've done a few PPTs there over the years.
Never had a problem with them.

I haven't been there for about two years, but when I did go I noticed that there were some people working there were a little pushy (but in the funny foreigner way).

                "What target you want?!"
                "What do you have?"
"Target over there! You go get target!"

I thought it was kind of funny.

Other than that the range had horrible ventilation and after one mag dump I had to wait a little before shooting again. However, I heard that they fixed that. All in all, not bad though.

I just talked to the owner. The dickwad guy is gone. He was caught stealing money from the business in excess of $50k. The newer guys are much younger and have better attitudes. If you are local and need a PPT done give them a try.
