Lurking on some threads, I read many folks here mention that shooting with both eyes open is the way to go; it had never even occurred to me to do that, so I went to the range today and practiced it with 150rds. It went damn well, thanks calguns.net folks! If you wrote in a thread to do this, I probably read it so pat yourself on the back for teaching yet another person.
I'll share the target with the last 50rds shooting:
I should note for all you pros on the forum that this is only my 2nd or 3rd month back shooting after a ... hrm, 15 year? 16 year? break, the last thing I shot before this awesome CZ was a classic M16A1 while in the Army. Go easy on my rather sloppy groups, I'm working on it.
Been focusing on trigger technique, my breathing technique is still on the To-Do list...
(gentle critique is welcome if you feel like it)
