            You would have to depress the safety then pull the trigger. It still takes two steps but adds the benefit of a reminder.

                Put this safety on your 590A1 and never look back. All steel, with a raised positive index tab. Again, with the 590A1, you don't have to take your hand off the grip to operate the controls. The controls are placed in just the right optimal ergonomic location.
