Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Because you're a fanatical BAR collector and have more money than sense?

Wife: You have too much. Sell some of that junk.
            Husband: Ok, sweetums.

            Price: $25,000

Wife: That stuff not sold yet?
Husband: Sorry dear, but market is tough right now. It'll pick up in a couple years, just wait.

                Husbands...take notes here!
I heard / saw this same situation one time with a guy who really didn't want to sell his motorcycle.
His wife had no clue he was asking $2,000 over market price.

Where does it actually say that it's a non-firing weapon anyways?

Looks like it probably works just fine. It would have to at least be able to dry-function for the armory training it was designed for.

Also, I did a quick search for "transferable BAR" and it looks like market value is about the same for a non-cutaway version. So, actually this one is a bargain.

                      That about sums it up.

Someday I hope to trade in my SA BAR for a FA BAR, someday...
