I just got 2 of these the other day, one in .223 and one for the .308.
So last night I was dinking around with them in my rifles and what I noticed, especially since I just put on a new stock on my FAL was that, if my check wasn't in the same exact place the laser would be off alittle.
So as I kept moving my head away from the stock and then back I was using the laser as a training device, to help with my muscle memory. I think this can definitely be used as a "when your home and bored" training tool.
I hope this made sense...
