I bought an un-used second hand Tikka TAC A1 about a month ago.
Finally had the motivation to put it together.
I put in a bag rider bar, a full length Arca rail, also bought a new bipod. The scope is an old one I had lying around, now matched to a one piece MPA BA mount.
Kind bummed at MPA for sending the mount with stainless hardware. I wrote them hoping to get black oxide finished bolts.
Pretty happy with it. Still looking for a sling. I told my daughter I'd love a Tab Gear Pinnacle sling for Christmas. I already have a matching rear bag
I sold a complete Springfield 1911 9mm kit to my son for 500 bucks. The pistol had been refinished to a mat stainless finish and fully gone through by the gunsmith, came with 7 mags, two really nice holsters and mag pouches.
In return, he also gave me back an old friend. A Taurus Modell 66 in 357.
I plan to crack it open. It was my stepfathers, from the 70's. I plan to put on a Hogue rubber grip, do a trigger job, buy it an OWB holster, and compete with it a bit. In my mind, it would be fun.
