Big 5 right now is selling their Winchester 100 round value packs for $14.99 normally 29.99. That $7.50 per 50 rounds. Today thats a great deal for factory brass cased rounds. I just picked up 500 rounds myself for the Shoot-N-Q.

It was funny, I told the guy I wanted some of the 9mm winchester rounds so he pulls a box off the shelf and asks if there will be anything else. I reply "yes, can I have 4 more boxes." the look on his face was priceless. At that point he asked for some ID.

I will glady pay a bit more for my ammo from the local gun shops, unless it is surplus. A couple of dollars here and there is a perfectly reasonable price to pay in order to keep Wal-Mart far from my town....

costco? ammo? didnt know.... if youre ever heading out through the tracy area, walmart out there had 100rd winchester boxes for 10.98 or something pretty decent. one week i bought 5. the next, 5 more. they usually have tons. not much in 223 tho.
