I can only imagine what the wait time will be to get range time. I believe their plan was to open every other lane. At least parking wont be an issue.

I have a reservation for Los Altos for Sunday morning. They have 2 sessions a day, 3 hours each. No sand bags, bring your own, no cease fire benches to sit on,bring your own, wear a mask. 6 feet separation. Either collect your brass or leave it on the ground, no clean up equipment. Seems like a pain but I bought a new rifle in March that I haven't shot yet and I did my first pillar bedding on another. I just have to go. You can make a reservation on their website.

I've been eagerly waiting for LA to reopen as it's my favorite Bay Area range. Somewhat dismayed by the changes. The website say these changes are temporary- I certainly hope so. All the benches and stools are gone, no picnic tables, no sand bags, reservations required now. I realize most of this is coming from the county in order to reopen. As the consumer- it all feels unwelcoming. The whole fun social interaction that goes with this activity has been dialed back to 0.
Anyways- the upcoming summer months are to hot there for me so I'll wait it out and hope these new changes are in fact temporary and I'll check back in the fall when it's cooler. Unless they bring back shooting plastic milk jugs full of water- I might have to suck it up and come back sooner for that.
