I have done a dozen or so transaction and all went well. The only issue I had was a Sig I bought from New York. It was apparently a small shop and although he didnt know that he had to register with CA (the reason a lot wont sell to CA), he didnt get his panties in a bunch about it.

The problem came from DOJ. The guy did everything he was supposed to and faxed over the form, etc., but DOJ took a month to get it done and had to be called a couple times.

The guy was aplogetic and offered my money back, but I told him it wasnt his fault and just waited it out. I didnt want to lose a deal on a 220 with 3 mags for $500 anyway!

I've had nothing but positive experiences, outside of the jackballs that won't sell to Californians
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

I've bought and sold a lot on GB but I won't buy any C&R arms there anymore. The last 4 all had undisclosed problems (cracked stocks, pitted bores, etc) and had to return them. Each time I was out the shipping in both directions. This wasn't GB's fault but an indication of what seems to me to be a trend on the online auction sites. I've had pretty good luck on Calguns.

I have purchased over 50 C&R long guns from GB and about 20% had undisclosed defects such as cracks in the stock, gouges, broken sights, seriously damaged bores, and an overall appearance not even close to the condition described. With each bad experience the seller had A+ feedback.
Last thing I bought was an advertised "Mint" condition 1953 Tula for $455 shipped. When the gun arrived it looked like a 5 year old used it to play army with, the photos in the auction sure looked good, need I say "photoshop".
That last purchase put me on vacation from Gunbroker for awhile.

            Dear California,
I love you. I was born and raised in you. You have given me some of the best times of my life. Now with that said, I can not wait to move!
            Your prisoner,
