buying ammo for the first time since july

won't make much difference i suppose, but curious if anyone know what info gets exchanged when doing the check to buy ammo. does caliber or quantity get sent? or is it just focused on the buyer as a go/no-go type thing?

not worth buying ammo in CA anymore. i decided to get into airsoft instead of guns.

Can't you just go to a gun range and rent a gun just for the ammunition to keep since it doesn't require a background check? If you're okay with buying overpriced ammo.

I just picked up some ammo along with a firearm purchase. Since July it seems like the system was also a lot pickier with how the FFL puts in your name as well. Like if you have a surname - Jr Sr... etc...
