LOL!! I'm very nearsighted, so I took my glasses off to see if I could still read that.

      I COULD!

Ok i cant speak for the AR stuff. But what i can say is that they are a safety oriented range. That is something i can support.

Then he should have just opened an airsoft/BB shooting gallery to teach about firearm techniques.

Shooting a legally acquired 30rd mag in a featureless rifle has nothing to do with safety, and in fact him hassling people & stressing about it actually takes away from him monitoring people shooting in a safe manner on the line.

I been to this place a few times, I can say he is pretty invasive with wanting to check my firearms. I haven't been back since he done that but he does run a clean range. OP experience just confirms I wont be coming back for awhile.

On a side not, Riverside Indoor Shooting Range yesterday was fun and laid back. Used my freedom mags with no issue, no time limit either! Wife and I had a blast =)

I took my CCW class and qualified there. He seems to be fairly knowledgeable on most laws, yeah he is a little off on certain things. Yeah the range rules are not quite what I would want them to be.... oh well. Its a nice clean range, run by (from what I can tell) a non-communist, pro-gun, human being, prone to error, who has to keep up with California laws, while running his range, teaching new shooters gun etiquette and safety, and educating people who walk in with full on AWs and other illegal guns/methods of transport, etc, etc

He is honestly (imho) doing more good for 2a cause, than most keyboard kommandos on here. And on the issues where he is wrong? If youre going to argue, go prepared with pc, rulings, crpa statements, etc.

Yeah but he dissed a cal gunner ! We all know thats not something anyone should ever do.Because its not enough to just not go there, you have to start a thread and encourage others to boycott his business!

By closing this range down. It will make room for more cal gunners to open successful shooting ranges.

Kinda like how so many cal gunners hate gun shows and will write dozens of posts complaining how jerky and jewelry are sold or how so and so charged 3 bucks more than the internet !

Yep! Beaumont Indoor is $18/hr. I should have walked out when he said that. Hind sight is 20/20! He also has a sign on his front door, “Must Declare CCW.” I sure as hell wasnt claiming that! That defeats the purpose of CCW ya idiot!

Thanks for the headsup, I'll definitely avoid that place. Had a similar experience at lyttle creek (kicked me out for a 30 rounder even though rifle was 100 percent compliant) if I have to shoot indoors I go to riverside magnum, they're good people and I'll leave it at

Yeah 1hr time limit, can’t use SCM’s, can’t pick up brass, must declare CCW at the door, and weapon inspections. That’s like what I would think of if Big 5 opened a shooting range or something. I honestly don’t see how that business model will survive.
