If you always need a magazine loader to load your magazine(s) then the loader itself needs to be an essential / primary part of your shooting gear.
It happens. Finger strength, injured & missing fingers, it doesn't matter if you have decided to shoot a mag feed pistol.
Gun first, ammo, at least one magazine second, ammo third, then in forth place the magazine loader itself.
Holster, belt, magazine pouch, flashlight, are all secondary to the loader.Last edited by hambam105; 04-07-2019, 10:00 PM.Comment

Pfft. . . ya wanna buy mine? Constant PITA, won't load a full mag drops rounds constantly. Other than not having to touch the ammo it's worthless. IMO.The ETS loader seems like a winner. I'll be picking up borh this week, seems like I can't go wrong with either.sigpicComment

Yup, there's a learning curve.
Start with making sure the magazine is firmly inserted into the loader.
Load the rounds into the loader while keeping it horizontal.
Insert the pusher and steadily apply pressure till the rounds are pushed down the ramp.
Insert the bugger so the magazine base is down against a table or something.
Tap tap tap while pressing down in the pusher. The justling will help the rounds to not bind up.
Load more rounds and repeat. Some mags work better with one round preloaded into the magazine.

Best loading invention ever!I went on a shopping spree picking up some standard cap magazines for my Glock 17. Those new magazines sure are hard to load! I know the spring will become easier to handle over time but I was looking into getting a magazine loader... Something like the Maglula UpLULA. Anybody have any feedback (good or bad) on it? If there's a better manufacturer out there that I'm not aware of please let me know.
Thanks.
Portable, convenient and easy to use. It loads any centerfire pistol magazine from 9mm to 45ACP.
Your thumbs will thank you
The Mag Pump is really slick too, but is not portable. UPLULA is.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

a magazine loader is very important, because your fingers get tired just loading mags and this will have an effect on your shooting
by using a loader, I keep my hand fresh / less fatigued
the mag loader that comes with a Glock is better than nothingComment
