Blue Loctite is most commonly found at auto shops like Autozone or Kragan's.

I've never used Loctite and never needed it. Follow the Leupold instructions and use a drop of oil. Recently I bought a torque wrench for my gunbench but prior to that I just torqued the screws with the included Leupold wrench. BTW, this includes large bore rifles up to and including .458Lott.
