I am thinking about buying the new DD 308. It will be my first experience with DD what is your experience and opinion on the brand?

DD makes quality stuff and I'm sure they put a lot of effort into building the DD5V1 right, but I usually wait a while before I buy a new on the market rifle. My guess is that DD is less likely to put out a rifle with bugs than many manufacturers so it'd be a reasonable gamble.sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? DD makes exceptional products. I have no experience with their 308 rifles though. But I guess you could say I'm kind of fond of my DDM4 in 556.iTrader: 52 transactions, 100% positive.Comment

I can't comment on their .308 platform, but I have a ddm4v1. It is amazing. I consider them the Springfield of rifles where price/performance is best (just my opinion). DD is top tier. I own one of their rifles along with BCM and Colt. DD is my favorite of the three. I do not, however, have experience with their new 308. But it would surprise me greatly if it's not of the same quality as their AR15's."Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

No .308 experience with them, but my DDM4v5 is rock solid. A well crafted machine with nice, tight tolerances.
