A BIG REMINDER!

Was at a friends house on the weekend and brought a gun slide to refinish. While hosing the gun slide off the neighbor had some "construction" workers doing stuff on her house. I walked over to my friends hose and one of the workers came out at the same time and stared intently at the slide. He clearly recognized it as a gun part and made me feel like he was a little to interested in it. I just had a feeling that made me uncomfortable about it. The day after construction ended next door, a truck parked down the street from my friends house and a guy was pretending to water a plant out front, completely casing the house. My friend has 6 cars so it is impossible to tell when people are home. He walked out front to have a smoke and sees this hispanic guy walking around with a watering can in his yard. Before he can say a word the guy takes off and jumps in the back of a pickup that takes off. Unable to ID person or truck.
So, the point of this long rant. Dont let people know you have guns, and be carefull walking out to your car with gun cases, or gun stuff.

When I lived in apts I always draped a beach towel or two over my cases when I was headed to my truck. Same thing with my ammo boxes. It never pays to advertise and only takes one guy to spot you and tell his friends. Great point to bring up!

Yep. UPS guy dropped off some ammo the other day and a bunch of guys standing out on the sidewalk were looking intently at it. Also shady guys catcalling my girlfriend outside the house. This is a nice neighborhood with million dollar houses but surrounding areas have ghetto types.

This state is going to crap. Things are just going to get worse with so many poor people from across the border bringing their set of ethics with them. But you are racist if you say that.

What is it with you people? There are dirtbags in all cultures, races, colors, etc including whatever one you come from. You (and others with similar perspectives) just seem to love to focus on one in particular. I am in court all day long; it is a mixed bag...the common trait among the majority of the people in there is that they are poor.
