If you believe regurgitated press releases published on heavy.com...

Sports news, analysis, rumors, statistics, predictions and roster moves around the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and more.

Of course, they conveniently omit the fact that the EUA version of the vaccine shields the manufacturer from liability. Major distinction.

They didn't answer the question as to how they are legally distinct

        Biotech v Comirnaty

So has anyone got the Comirnaty vaccine?

Are they making it? Shipping it? Using it?

Where are the vaccine experts, Rocketman, Balgor and BigD??

If you go to the Pfizer web page it states there are minor formula differences that don’t effect efficacy and that the Pfizer jab is legally different then comirnaty. Why the difference then? Why not offer the product that is fully approved? I can see one good reason, to avoid liability.

I’m sorry I forgot to add: Comirnaty sounds like something Russians would mumble when someone cut ahead in the line for bread.

One has 11 ingredients, the other has 10. They are legally distinct.

If there are even minor differences then they aren't the same product and both products need to go through the approval process and be granted authorization independently. It's like when a medication goes generic-even though its the same active ingredient, inert ingredients and binders can lead to differences in absorption, etc. Generics must each go through an approval process, they don't just get to ride on the coat tails of the original (aside from the fact that they no longer have to prove the effectiveness of the original ingredient).
