Testing is definitive, but expensive and currently not practical and other than for statistical analysis, not really necessary. Doctor's can make an educated guess based on signs and symptoms.

Of course the media is only going to put forth the "findings" that fit their narrative. It will be the pandemic if the "unvaccinated" in spite of vaccinated people succumbing to the disease. I personally reviewed two cases this week of fully vaccinated people succumbing from the virus in spite of both having received both doses of the vaccine. You don't hear much about these cases in the news.

Supposedly a portion of positive PCR tests are sent to the labs for further analysis to determine exactly what kind of strain we're dealing with. If the samples are random enough, then we can come up with a reasonable guess as to how many cases are actual "delta strain."

As I understand it, only sophisticated laboratory testing can identify the delta variant and only a small percentage of positive Covid samples are being tested. And yet, we see hospitals and local county offcials claiming 98% of ne “cases” are delta variant.

How available is delta variant testing and how many positive results are actually being run through the intense process neded to identify it?

This parallels all the flu/pneumonia cases that were labled as Covid.

The fear porn distributors have to give you something new as you numb to the existing story. People gotta get their fix. Is delta variant real? I doubt it. But it sells a lot of TV time... it gives politicians a reason to tyrannize the citizens. There will be a few more variants before we tire of the whole thing and will require a whole new virus, or we will be so enslaved it won't matter anymore, or WWIII/Revolution Part II/Civil War II kicks off...

Seriously though, weve been cooped up for months and our immune systems got weak. Now we're catching everything. And as before everything is probably being labeled Covid. Gotta keep those numbers up!

So if we are not testing separately for the Delta Variant and are only cataloging it by less severe symptoms does it exist at all??

If 180 Million people in the US have been given the Vaccines with 95% efface we should see 9 Million breakthrough cases. Since we see much less that would suggest most breakthrough cases are too mild to report and it would also make sense that we are seeing less severe symptoms especially in breakthrough cases.
