      IMO not worth restoring, bummer. An M97 is on my list of guns I want to add to the collection but they are getting pricey.

          The rest of the metal looks to be in decent shape, was it reblued? Usually by now the bluing is gone on most of these.

          Maybe you can sell it out of state?

              You can find the parts to make it whole again, but it would likely be cheaper to just buy another one.

                  That doesn't look legal to me. Under 18in barrel with not stock is an AOW. That has felony bad deal written all over it. 15in barrel is BAD NEWS. I wouldn't touch that with my enemies 10 foot pole.
