I'm new to all this
I've read up on a few instructions but they don't focus on the stuff I'm about to ask.I currently have the Otis Tactical Cleaning system, otis reload (2 more Ultra Bore Solvent and 50 patches) and Hoppes #9 Aerosol Dri-Lube. The Otis bore solvent contains a lubricant. I currently have more than I need
My question is, will it be a bad ideal to clean the inside of receiver, bolt, etc with the ultra bore solvent? Unnecessary oil on the receiver will collect too much residue? Or will a nylon brush be enough to clean these parts w/o this solvent?
My second question is, will the ultra bore solvent be enough to lubricate the action bars, tracks, bolt, bolt slide? I'd like to return/sell the Hoppes #9 Dri lube if I don't need it.
