I want to start a new VR80 thread since you cant post on the older one due to it being, well old...

My first question is what has anyone done to cover the gas port barrel shroud to protect your hands from burning. I saw Manta Defense has a Tac Wrap, just wondering if that will interfere with the gasses being released. Anyone gone with the angled forgrip, does that work ?

Thinking about selling my VR80 but I kind of like the obnoxious looking 9rd mag on it. Still haven't shot it yet due to the expensive 12g rds now a days. smh.

CA assault weapons laws for shotguns are similar but different than those for rifles, pistols, and others.

In order to be CA legal...

1. Semi-auto shotgun must operate using a fixed magazine. [PC 30515(a)(7)]

2. Semi-auto shotgun can not have a folding/telescoping stock and a pistol grip or any type of vertical grip. [PC 30515(a)(6)]

3. Shotgun can not operate using a cylinder. [PC 30515(a)(8)]
