Browning A5

Asking for a co-worker:

3 year old A5 started to light strike on occasion, then on every trigger pull, it was taken apart and cleaned and the firing pin will not release at all.

Trying to avoid sending it back to browning, any suggestions? Has anyone had this happen before?

They can probably tell you what is wrong with it, or send it back to Browning. Not alot of options on a new A5.

They aren't like the old ones that there is videos on Youtube telling you how to fix it.

What do you mean by 'not release at all"?
Is it stuck in place? Probably gunk, easy fix. Try to take it apart, put some kerosene on it, try ultrasonic cleaner.
Usually it is a sight of lack of maintenance.
Another advise, sell A5 and buy Maxus

Or Take the barrel out of it, and hose the insides down with Brake Cleaner then lube it back up adn go.

The hammer isn't releasing to strike the pin?

I'm gonna guess an assembly error.
