^^^ So THAT'S what I'm doing wrong! Should be using a rifle to shoot skeet! LOL, I liked that very much. Used to watch Beverly Hillbillies as a kid but I don't remember that episode.

Found some really nice Winchester 101's. Both around 3K. I've always heard that 101's beat you up with recoil. Any actual experience? I don't get how that happens though. Unless there is a small variation in the stock angle, it's still a 12ga. ?

It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.
You alone and our own have earned it with...Your sweat, blood and lives. You own it forever.
The title is....."United States Marine".

Stock dimensions would be the culprit, with a wood stocked gun they can easily be altered as required. The biggest problem with the old Japanese 101 is parts availability, the manufacturer went out of business a long while ago."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

I have a pair of Japanese 101s, one in 12ga SK/SK, the other is .410 IC/Mod. Neither beats me up and I have not noticed any unusual recoil from the 12. The 12 came with a factory ventilated pad, and I replaced the butt stock with another factory piece that has a hard butt plate, all standard dimensions. A friend has a 101 in 20ga and it seems very heavy.Comment
