Ammo Finds - Post them here

I just bought a S&W M&P 15-22 A-1 today. My bride was furious. Then she calmed down and asked what caliber that was. She was afraid it was 223 like my friends and I would have to buy ANOTHER caliber ammo. She calmed when I told her 22lr. Still peeved, but not as much.

M&P seems liike a fun gun. I got to shoot exactly 5 rounds out of one when they had the S&W demo event at my range. I keep wanting to buy at least one .22 rifle, but don't have a good place to shoot it. Just don't see the point on a 25 yd range. My LGS just had a nice used Marlin for $65. I wanted it, now it's gone.

The list for this model is $519. They supposedly had it on sale for $489, but that is what they usually knock of the list on all their guns. The real sale was they took another $40 off. $5 for the FDLE fee and $27 in tax brought it up to $481.

Sorry I took so long, I wasn't sure. I had to get the bill of sale. I've shot my buddies and it's a lot of fun. My first and probably (according to the wife) my last tactical or any caliber.

I scoped my two 10/22's and they are a ton of fun at 50 -100 yards. And very accurate also. I'm not sure what I'm going to put on the MP. That's always the fun of getting a new gun, not matter what it is.

I like the time Gander started tonight. At least it was night in my neck of the woods, 7 pm. It's a lot better than 11 like it was the past few weeks. For us easterners, that is.

for us Westerners, not so much. I was doing the brakes on the old lady's van at the time. had to squeeze that job in while still daylight.

better luck next time. I've grown addicted to expecting .22 deliveries thanks to this thread.
