Vacaville is still a nogo, as no .22 in 2 months and the big 5 is 24 a pop if they have it. Maybe someday it will get caught up so we can shoot a little bit more.......

Santee Walmart had 550 federal packs yesterday.... Full bottom shelf of them...

Didn't get any since I'm working off of 2 boxes I bought 4-5 years ago for 7.95.... I REALLY need to go shoot more!

So morale of the story, if you do something good maybe you find what you are looking for.
I've seen these same packs on calguns for $20 : 0

I've given up on ever finding .22 in a store. Bought a case of 5k for 225 shipped from gunbroker. Price is decent, and at least I have something to shoot out of my new magnum research 10/22 I should be getting the ammo around the same time as I can pick up the rifle.
www.sportsmanssupplyco.com is the guys who had it, try calling them for some more, they seem like real good people.

    .22 Karma story

A buddy and I went shooting this past weekend, then a another group of shooter's roll up and ask if they can shoot near us and we said sure thing. Towards the end we started talking more with them, let them shoot some some our guns they let us shoot some of their stuff, good times had by all.

They started talking about how they could not find any 22 ammo. So we gave them just about over a 150 rounds, plus my guns didn't really like that ammo anyway so no biggie.

Then later on that day we hit up the Redlands Walmart and guess what we find, the 333 Winny packs for $9.97. Just to let you know I've seen these same packs at Turner's for $15.99.

Went by Big 5 and Walmart last night. Nothing. Got a rain check from Big 5, but I doubt I will be called any time soon. The Walmart had not seen value packs for several weeks. Went to Bass Pro on Friday, they were empty as well.

Yes. Make sure you clean the chambers thoroughly before chambering any .22LR ammo.

I haven't seen .22 in a while. I finally just broke down and ordered some from Cabelas.

Only thing it seems to want to shoot reliably is Remington (good luck finding any) and CCI minimags (again, good luck).
that is all i can find. the sports authority near me has TONS of CCI and BIG 5 has remington. I've bought all the AE from 2 big 5's and the gun shop. A total of 6 boxes.

Problem is - my marlin 99 simply doesn't like a lot of what's out there. ...
The federal (and AE) is so-so, winchester and Aguila simply does not work. ...
Where are you finding Federal AE? Are you talking about the 38-grain copperwashed?
