The Walmart in Elk Grove had maybe 30 or so 100 round packs of CCI mini mags when I was in there earlier today. 6.47 each. They also had CB shorts and 22 bird shot.

i just picked up some AE, and i kinda noticed something different, but not enough to think anything of it. and when i looked at it in the car it was the 500 rd non-plated/non-HP variety. its a straight lead bullet.

i didn't even know they made this? but whatever, its 500rds instead of 400. I've been buying the HP 400 rd packs since i was about 10 years old.

does anyone have any feedback on what i bought? shoot the same?

Heard the the Wallyworld in Tracy/East Bay has been stocking Fed Auto Match 350 round packs for $16 with a 6 box limit. Also for the guys close to Livermore, Dom's Outdoors had some CCI the last time I called down there a few days ago, didnt ask what CCI they had though.

To the poster that lied to WalMart about the "shoplifter", I understand your feelings, but by lying, do you want to bring yourself to that guys level? I'd of probably given your kid a brick but to be honest, as I commonly sell/trade ammo among friends at non gouge rates, I might have not as if I had 6 bricks, 3 or so would go to others I know at cost.

I'd of at least tried to throw him part of a box, for free even maybe.

Also, I don't lying to Walmart about a possible shopluifter will work, they need to see him in the act to detain him I believe.

Highest gouge I have seen on a 50rd box of non special .22lr ammo like Lapua or Eley match, you shoud sit down know if you are not, ready?

$5.50 a box of 50 of Winchester .22lr ammo. Wow.

I think the bubble is bursting a little anyways, I've seen gouge rate Wolf and basic .22lr ammo sit most of a day or even two days know when put for sale at Turners or such.

I also heard Turners employees commenting in the store about holding ammo for themselves, like a brick or two of .22lr or for friends, sad. But haha, those bricks at Turners are like $28 a box!

I have yet to pay more than about $15 per 500 yet, I just am patient and wait and search. I don't always get the brands and such I want but I refuse to be gouged.

    Good to hear.

Bass Pro had 500 packs of Remmy for $20 today.

This past Friday, Turner's got their ammo in and was seeing 22lr on the tables there.

I picked up the last two 550 fed packs at the Victorville Walmart. Also it looks like the VV WM is getting out of the ammo biz, because where the ammo used to be, is now donuts.

Marysville Walmart got a sizable load last night, they had a bit of everything EXCEPT 22 bulk packs. If you needed 9mm, there were over 40 boxes of the Win 100 rounders. They were all gone by about 10 this morning. I grabbed 3 boxes of Blazer Brass in .40 and left everything else.

    They got nothing tonite.

Idk if that meant the 100 rounds or if u could buy the 500rd boxes they came in, yet those were all open, probably so you can't buy 6 500rd packs.
Walmart in Tulare had just about the same yesterday around noon.
