I introduced a friend to firearms a few weeks ago via my Marlin 795. He had a great time.
Now he is starting to look around for his own 22LR and is looking at the Mossberg 702 Plinkster. I am not familiar with this rifle and want to make sure he's happy with his first one. The use will be plinking and target shooting to 50 yards, probably with a scope.
Could anyone offer me an informed opinion on the 702 Plinkster's quality and accuracy as compared to Marlin 795 and Ruger 10/22?
