Seems like some under powered stuff from their website:

we were able to chronograph three different lots from our shipment. We had experienced an average of 901 feet per second from a 4.7 inch barrel pistol and an average of 967 feet per second from a 16.1 inch barrel rifle with 1 in 16 inch twist

That's a whole lot of ammo for an unknown. I'd buy some, but 6k exceeds my needs at present.

yea.. the only thing holding me back is the unknown ammo and that it's 30 some odd years old...

Well, it does have enough oomph to cycle some semi-autos, and apparently has enjoyed good storage in it's 30 year slumber:

Firearms used for chronograph testing: CZ 75 B using Kadet conversion kit and Kuehl Precision Firearms dedicated AR-15 upper. Chronograph testing was performed at a temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit and at an elevation of approximately 886 feet. As shown in the video link below, we experienced zero 'duds' while shooting. Even though this ammunition is 30 years old, it is very obvious from our inspection and test firing that this ammunition has benefited from proper storage.
You can also buy 250 rounds or 1000 rounds for a slightly higher per unit cost. For me, I'm concerned that the kadet kit I have for the sp01 is the only gun it would run in. All my other rimfire kit platforms have much stiffer main springs and at 900 fps or so, I doubt it would cycle them...

Darn.. CMP not taking any more orders for 22. Wish I had found out about CMP earlier.

I just ordered some .308 Federal Match (200 rds ) plus have bought M2 Ball, .30 Carbine, I always try and buy large quantities and restock when it's half used up. Cost has gone up like everywhere else but still decent plus if I'm going to burn hard earned cash CMP is the place. Bought more than my share of Garands, Carbines, 1903's and .22's from them and always satisfied.

Sellier and Bellot is a well respected name in Europe and you do see it here on occasion. I have shot some in .45 ACP and .223 with normal results. The velocity might be a problem in some semi-autos as has been noted.

I ordered 1K of that ammo and will report back with results on accuracy, ability to cycle semi-auto pistols and rifles. Should have the ammo sometime next week and shoot it the week after. A review on RFC seem OK but its a crap shoot from my point of view but what the heck I'll have fun evaluating the ammo. Will start a new thread after I shoot it. Stay tuned.

Got 1200 rounds of Winchester for 7.2 cents at bass pro couple of weeks ago. Works great in my 10/22

$.08/round is Mini Mag pricing. No thanks.

I agree, .08 for 6,250 rounds of 30 year old ammo is kind of steep. I usually only buy when I can get it for .05-.06/rd shipped.
