Works fine on mine to 500. Don't blame the optic.

I have an option of a Trijicon TA31F W/Red Chevron and rail mount for $1000
      or
      I have a Trijicon TA31F-A w/ Amber Horseshoe reticle for $800

      Red Chev, is NEW
Amber/yellow, is used, but in good condition and comes with original case and misc items

On one hand, We have a nice Red color
On the other, We have a not so attractive buTT, at a great price.

Is the $200 worth the yellow?

I have never owned a trijicon. Have shot various times in the Marine Corps, of course they use Red chevron. I see a lot of mixed reviews but mostly no one likes Amber. Any thoughts?

Amber has a shorter tritium warranty too

I like my green over the red Chevron. I have both.

          Red Chevy for the win.
Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...
