The Discovery Optics LHT 3-12x42 is a lightweight scope with the slim profile of a traditional 3-9x hunting scope, but with a FFP tactical MOA reticle of a target scope. It may be a bit too thin at 3x for some woods hunters. But I prefer a thinner reticle at the center for longer range target shoting.
It's better than anything I've shot with these features for under $150 new. The Vortex Crossfire comes close in price but doesn't offer an adjustable parallax or similar reticle.
