Search on YouTube, plenty of reviews.

I own both Razor HD and Strike Eagle. Generally speaking, lower tier Chicom-made Vortex scopes aren't worth the MSRP. But if you can get one at deeply discounted pricing, then it can be good value.

Made in China, stays in China.

Personally, I'd be looking at the Leupold Mark 4's at MidwayUSA. They're pretty reasonably priced, they get the job done, and they've got Leupold's quality and warranty.

Its decent. I have one on a 308 Bolt rifle, no complaints.

Vortex Venom are good, but the Viper PST Gen 2 are much better glass. Used market is a couple hundred more, and in my opinion, worth it. But if you budget is only that Venom it's still fine.

Leupold Mark IV is SFP only and doesn't have the "christmas tree" reticle if that's important to you.

True, no Horus-type reticles with the Mark 4's, but I rather like the TMR reticle. As for SFP, that has its merits, too. It's always pretty easy to see the reticle. As for ranging, you put the magnification right in the middle, everything's simply halved. Fairly easy calculation in your head. You put it on max magnification, it's actual value.

Nothing wrong with the "Christmas tree" style reticles if that's one's thing. But remember, if you can shoot, you can shoot with any reticle, certainly a mil-dot or TMR.

OP, did you get a riflescope yet?
