Howdy All,
Picked up a Ruger #1 Sporter in 243, 22"bbl. Circa 1982...Yes the one that has the factory rail mounted with the ring boss and express rear site...
I'd like to mount a Leupold VX3 4.5-14x40 - 1" tube on the rifle.
Unclear as to whether this is a stepped mount (rear ring mount higher than the front) or if they are the same height. - Checked the Leupold mount finder at is calls for the high ring mounts.
Also looking for input on offsets for the rear.
