I took my AR with a new Vortex Optics SPR-1303 Spitfire 3x Prism Scope last night.
After one hour, my friend and I had the rifle zeroed. I was amazed and impressed by how easy it was to operate the scope, and how easy it was to zero the rifle with this scope at a distance (100 yards) where I can't even see the target - at least the dots on the target!
It has a battery-powered, illuminated reticle that lights up either red or green, and has intensity adjustments depending on lighting.
It was a really nice experience to have everything work, and have the scope do EXACTLY what it was designed to do.
