Rings/mounts for Primary Arms 4-14x44 on R700

Sorry this may be a dumb question, but I'm more of a pistol shooter than a rifle shooter.

I'm going to be getting either a R700 SPS 308 20 inch barrel or maybe the Savage 10P 308.

I'll only be punching holes into paper at 100 yards, since that is about as far as I can go in this side of the Bay area.

I'm looking at the Primary Arms FFP 4-14X44 and am wondering -

Can I get away with Burris XTR low rings and a zero MOA mount? Or will I need medium rings instead?

What is your current setup if you have a Primary Arms 4-14x44 FFP and a Remington 700 SPS or Savage 10P?

I've read low rings with 20 moa will perfect fit for the 4-14x44

i have PA 4-14x44 scope 20moa base and low rings in ORDER I will let you know when they come in

The size of the rings depends on you face and how you line up to the optic. Low rings are fine for most.
