Anyone have a G-Code paddle holster for an XD?

Just bought one for a 9mm and am using it with my XD40. I also have an XD9SC but they both seem to fit too tight in the holster. The screw to adjust the retention on the trigger does nothing and it seems most of the retention is tight on the slide.

Wondering if this is normal.
